Do you feel that same tension from your childhood? I remember it like it was yesterday, the sheer excitement when my father came home from work with the Christmas gift; a box filled with treasures! I still remember it from my childhood, when I was making an Advent calendar, finding and opening a homemade bag with the number of the day every day. That wonderful feeling of being surprised every day. I felt it myself two weeks ago when we (my daughters and I) received the KKnekki's Advent calendar, and the very event itself had us overjoyed (what strange creatures we are ;-)

The third version of the Kleuroptafel Advent calendar is exactly that. And for 24 days straight! You wake up and the first thing you do—perhaps after your cup of tea or coffee—is open the day's gift. Every day is a moment of happiness. And that's always something colorful, cozy, or beautiful for the table, the Christmas tree, or your home. You give your December an extra dose of color and joy.

What's inside the calendar? That remains a secret until you open each package. All I can say is that these are truly typical "Kleuroptafel" gifts. Everything was conceived and selected by me, and ultimately judged by my children (and they're quite critical of what I do!) to determine whether it's truly Advent calendar-worthy.

Time needed

Why should I order now, Titia? Well, it's quite simple! I make these advent calendars myself. A maximum of 24 advent calendars containing 24 hand-wrapped gifts. And I can tell you right now that they're not small things. This year, everything is wrapped in one theme. How? I'm keeping that a secret for now, but it's a feast for the eyes (a real treat!), I can tell you that already. And those 24 gifts for yourself or your family, I'm still collecting and coming up with. After all, it has to be a truly fantastic collection, I fully realize that! Luckily, I'm waking up every now and then in the middle of the night with brilliant ideas; another one of the 24 days filled ;-)

Out the door on time

You understand that for me (Ms. Disorganization herself ;-), this is a military exercise. And then, of course, the calendar has to go out well in advance, because on December 1st, the first package gets to be opened! That's why I'm already activating the calendar on the website; it gives me some peace of mind, because at least I know what to expect.
