Marimekko Siirtolapuutarha (coffee) cup with handle, coral

A coffee or two every day. And preferably from your own favorite cup, of course. Not too big, not too small. Perfect for those who still drink regular filter coffee or conjure up a lungo from a vending machine. The mug is made of stoneware and features a subtle handle that's comfortable to hold.

The Siirtolapuutarha design, in color!

In addition to the most famous design from the Finnish brand Marimekko, the Unikko, Kleuroptafel is also expanding the Siirtolapuutarha collection. This is a design by Maija Louekari from 2009. In this series, nature and the city converge. Siirtolapuutarha loosely translates to "city garden." Ness and wicker baskets and umbelliferous flowers are about to burst into bloom. You're probably already familiar with this design in black, sometimes with a striking background color. On this cup, the print is a vibrant orange, with a large pink dot as a background.

Mix with your Marimekko Oiva tableware

The foundation of Marimekko's Oiva tableware is always the same. The shapes and sizes are always the same. The colors and patterns always complement each other. That's why it's so wonderful to combine (and keep combining). This pattern goes beautifully with many of the red and dark red and coral Unikko pieces, but perhaps you'll pair it with your Räsymatto tableware with its dots. Anything goes, of course!
