Just as handy as the Marimekko smartbags – the foldable shopping bags – are these 'mini manuals', as they are called at Marimekko.

A small package, 16 centimeters long and about 5 centimeters in diameter. The case and wristband already give away the design: the colorful Siirtolapuutarha in many shades of green and blue.

Remove the cover and undo the Velcro. Give it a quick shake and slide it out!

I wouldn't put it up in a force 9 wind, but what umbrella other than a storm umbrella can survive that?

Handy for the traveler or commuter, or for the ultimate Marimekko fan!

It takes a little getting used to getting the umbrella back into its pouch, but after a few times you'll get the hang of it.
