Puutarhakutsut tablecloth with flowers in beige, light blue, green and orange 140 x 250
A light, summery meadow of flowers on the table. That's how I would describe this Puutarhakutsut cotton and linen tablecloth from Marimekko. The design, created in 1989 by Japanese-Finnish designer Fujiwo Ishimoto, features a calm white background with seemingly freehand drawings of flowers, leaves, and stems. The soft colors of beige, light blue, and pink, interspersed with occasional striking orange or bold green, make it, in my opinion, typically Marimekko.
The fabric, composed of cotton and linen, was screen-printed at Marimekko in Finland and then finished with a green lock stitch in Estonia.

Are you, like me, completely captivated by this cheerful color combination? We currently also have Oiva tableware in this design, or how about Tiiliskivi mugs in light blue, orange, and green? Because of the beige in the pattern, it even pairs beautifully with the beige Unikko series.
