I'd been looking for cute cake plates for ages, and just when I wasn't looking for them anymore, I stumbled upon them. And completely against my usual routine, I bought them right away at the fair. Otherwise, I always just sit at home and mull everything over, and after much deliberation, I order some of the things I'd seen. I immediately placed my order from the incredibly cheerful And Nook collection. And not just the cake plates :-) Because these cheerful fruits are a must-have for the cute cake plates! Then there are breakfast plates and cake plates that match beautifully!

Scraped edges and naive drawings

These four different colorful plates each feature a cheerful piece of fruit (I see a lemon, a peach (?), grapes, and a pear) in the center. The delicate colors, patterns, and a scalloped edge are reminiscent of Grandma's time, yet these designs have a modern twist. I already have enough plates in my cupboard; I'd love to have one of these myself. They make me so happy!
