The base of the plate is white, just like all other Oiva tableware (so it always combines well with the all-white Unikko tableware!). This stylized poppy design has been around since 1964! The plate is 20 cm in diameter, making it large enough for a breakfast or salad plate.

My favorite thing about Marimekko's Oiva tableware is how beautifully it mixes and matches. This plate, too, with its lovely bright colors. It goes beautifully with the pink Piccolo stripes, for example. Always a good choice: the white-on-white Unikko print or the white Oiva tableware, the foundation of everything.
