I've been happily selling EME's colored Brio cutlery for about 10 years now. It's fantastic! Just one thing: not everyone is a fan of all those bright colors. So I was looking for something more neutral. Something that would complement many interior styles better, without being run-of-the-mill (because I don't like that :-)

Wood!

Wood is the solution, because wood is never wrong in your interior. It goes with absolutely everything. Just like so many other natural products like raw linen and sheep's wool... It always blends in. Now, this cutlery isn't made of real wood, and that's a good thing, because that wouldn't be practical at all. The base of the Vero Wood cutlery is stainless steel, and the handle is hard plastic. This makes it dishwasher-safe. But thanks to the ingenious process EME uses to make the handles, you do have the "soft" feel of wood, and what's more, the cutlery looks like real wood!
