Last year, I was completely captivated by And Nook's inviting plates. And when I stumbled upon the And Nook booth at the Paris trade show in early January, the exact same thing happened. But look at these inviting plates, you get the picture, right?

Color the table!

These four plates are decorated with all sorts of lovely French words and phrases: crème de la crème, amour toujours, bonne appétit, and Oui, oui. Enjoy a French breakfast, or simply indulge in a generous slice of Limburg flan or apple pie!

I find Charlotte's (the woman behind And Nook) slightly naive painting style very charming and fun. The white ceramic plates also have a charming zigzag pattern, an organic shape, and each has a different colored rim.

In gift wrapping

I don't know about you, but I always love it when a gift actually comes in gift wrapping.
