I saw the Arcucci booth at the Paris trade show and this was what I wanted: so much color!!! Absolute bliss, because there was a huge row of stacked plates: charger plates, dinner plates, breakfast plates, and deep plates in just about every color of the rainbow. Plain with a gold edge, striped, and this subtle white with a hand-applied edge.
This dinner plate is the larger of the two sizes available in this set: 29 cm and 29 cm. Paired with the smaller dinner plate, it makes a lovely underplate.

Classic, with a twist

This type of tableware is essentially very classic. White with a subtle scale along the edge and a small relief on the outer rim of the plate. But at Kleuroptafel, we naturally go for a colorful twist! Because white is just white, right?! If I had the choice, I'd choose all the colors. But I also understand limiting yourself to one color. Or two. Or a mix of two or three colors, so you can mix and match the different pieces on the table. A nice stack with a red edge on the bottom of the dinner plate, then orange on the breakfast plate, and then yellow on the deep plate. Just to name a few. You can also alternate with the delicious candy stripe of the Arcucci Nastro tableware or the Rosso Natale Christmas tableware. In short, go wild!

As Christmas tableware

Initially, I only wanted to buy the Rosso Natale Christmas tableware from Arcucci this fall. But when I was putting it online, I realized it would pair beautifully with this subtle earthenware with green and red edges. And you can, of course, use that edged piece all year round! A sustainable choice indeed :-)
