Make your own cheese dome

We used to have a cheese dome at home, with a glass bowl and a glass dome. When that one broke, a wooden board with a glass dome on top appeared. I have a hard time finding complete cheese domes, so I bought this smaller glass dome. This way, you can create a nice combination with a breakfast or dinner plate, or perhaps a flat marble dish.

Also for small cakes of course

So you can make a cheese dome with it, but it's just as lovely to use it to present a small cake. Doesn't that look absolutely chic?!
