In September, I went to the Paris fair with one goal: Christmas tableware. I went, saw it, and loved it! And I thought it was fantastic. Weeks later, I was still dreaming about it. Because just look how cozy and adorable it is! It's a Christmas tableware "with everything erauf" (with everything erauf), yet it's also aesthetically pleasing and has a truly charming look.

That's what I say: Completely different! A red-striped rim, with a green leaf wreath inside, a cozy natural Christmas tree in the middle, and then, as the icing on the cake, a goldfinch! The name of this dinnerware is Rosso Natale.

Made in Italy

I've been debating for a long time. Should I go for the cheaper Christmas tableware from China—which I've been happily selling for years, let me be clear and honest about that—or should I look for something made in Europe? The latter is what I prefer to sell, and what I'm specifically looking for for Kleuroptafel. Luckily, the choice wasn't that difficult because of this cool design! From a new supplier in Italy. Made of earthenware

This tableware comes from a small town in Tuscany. The family-owned Arcucci company makes the pottery in its own factory. They fire the clay at the highest possible temperature, creating pottery that is wonderfully sturdy and resistant to daily use. The tableware is dishwasher and microwave safe and highly impact-resistant.

Print

Much of Arcucci's tableware is decorated by hand. A modern technique was used to decorate this Christmas tableware: the image is printed directly onto the tableware. This allows Arcucci to produce this Christmas tableware at an affordable price. I find this both enjoyable and important for a tableware that you simply take with you, even though you can, of course, reuse it year after year. And—I assume—it appears as soon as the first box of the Advent calendar is opened.

Breakfast plate or salad plate

I say "breakfast plate" on purpose. It has a diameter of 20 centimeters. That's plenty big enough for a sandwich—though definitely a bit too big for a piece of cake—but if you're looking for a substantial breakfast plate, I'd recommend the dinner plate. This small plate is also perfect for a starter, salad during dinner, or a beautifully presented (Christmas) dessert.

Nice and extensive

I've listened carefully to the comments from customers who have purchased Christmas tableware from Kleuroptafel over the past few years. A common question was: do they also offer serving dishes? That makes sense, because you don't want to be sitting with pots and pans on the table at Christmas dinner. And when you're working so hard in the kitchen, it's extra nice to present dinner beautifully. This tableware set includes a small bowl, dinner plate, soup plate, and breakfast plate, as well as two shallow serving dishes and a beautiful, large, flat, round serving dish.
