Why is it so difficult, if not impossible, to find identical tea towels and hand towels at Marimekko? It's because we in the Netherlands deviate from the norm. The rest of the world (okay, maybe with a few exceptions) simply dries their hands with a tea towel in the kitchen. They probably have two tea towels: one for dishes and one for their hands, but a nice, fluffy towel like we want... never heard of it.

As a Dutch entrepreneur and Marimekko seller, I'm always looking for something similar. And I've found a really nice combination, if I do say so myself. This red and pink Unikko towel is 50 x 70 cm. The Marimekko tea towels are (approximately) 47 x 70 cm. So, not quite the same size, but of course, when they're hanging on a hook, you won't even notice. And no, this towel doesn't have to be in the kitchen! It can also go in the toilet, bathroom, or your gym bag.
