For fans of the Marimekko Unikko flower, I've now also bought towels to match the black and white Unikko tea towels. We Dutch people love sets, don't we? A matching tea towel and hand towel for the kitchen. Now, this Unikko on the towel is a lot bigger than the flowers on the tea towels, but it's the best I could find for you 😉‍♀️

Not quite black, this towel

Note the following. In Marimekko's pictures (the first two), the towel looks black and white. In reality, it's more gray and cream. See the photo I took of the towel with everything on the coat rack.

The towel is of a nice thick quality.

New towel? Here's how to make sure it dries properly:

Soak overnight in cold water with a dash of neutral vinegar. This will help the towel absorb moisture better and also set the colors. Wash the towel at 60°C and, if possible, line dry.
