For fans of Marimekko's black-and-white Räsymatto design, I've now also bought some of those cute little towels. Perfect for the kitchen, the bathroom, the smallest room, and even for the gym. And we Dutchies love sets, don't we? A matching tea towel and hand towel for the kitchen. Now we even have the choice of a 50 x 70 cm or 30 x 50 cm tea towel in this design! And of course, you can complete the look with those cute dishcloths!

About the color

Take a closer look: unlike the tableware and, for example, the oven mitts and potholders, this tea towel isn't black on stark white. The base is a fabric composed of linen, cotton, and recycled cotton. This fabric is unbleached, so it's a kind of light gray. Of course, the tea towel is of the superior quality you expect from Marimekko!

New towel? Here's how to make sure it dries properly:

Soak overnight in cold water with a splash of white vinegar (not cleaning vinegar). This will help the towel absorb moisture better and also set the colors. Then wash the towel according to the care label and line dry if possible.
