I believe I am the only person in the Netherlands who still only burns real Christmas tree candles in the Christmas tree. And therefore has no electric fairy lights. And I am proud of it :-)

But because of this, I also have a little quirk: I am always looking for the right candles. Partly for that reason, I have been selling Bolsius Christmas tree candles (which has since become Müller) for years – really for myself – but they only come in white and red. Until I happened to come across the Danish company Kunstindustrien. And they make Christmas tree candles in every color of the rainbow! And ivory ;-)
