Always looking for a statement-making platter? Voila! Can you picture yourself walking into the dining room with Christmas dinner? Your large roast surrounded by all sorts of delicious treats. And then the rest of the table decorated in (this :-) style too?!

I saw the Arcucci booth at the Paris trade show and this was what I wanted: so much color!!! Absolute bliss, because there was a huge row of stacked plates: chargers, dinner plates, breakfast plates, and deep plates in just about every color of the rainbow. Plain with a gold edge, subtle white with a hand-applied colored edge, and this gorgeous candy stripe tableware. Hand-painted too, by the way! It's called Nastro, which means ribbon or band in Italian. This salad bowl, with a diameter of 33 centimeters, brightens up any table and turns any occasion into a celebration.

Instant happiness

At Kleuroptafel, we naturally aim for the most vibrant colors possible! Because white is just white, right?! If I had the choice, I'd use every color of this striped tableware. And all the pieces! But I also understand if you limit yourself to one color. Or two. Or combine two or three colors, so you can mix and match the different pieces on the table. Plates stacked on top of each other, but also with the bowls, of course. Are these stripes a bit much for the entire table? You can also alternate with the more subtle version of the Dolce Vita tableware, the Fil, a white tableware with a striped edge. As you can see in the video, they are exactly the same models; only the decoration differs.

As Christmas tableware

Initially, I only wanted to buy the Rosso Natale Christmas tableware from Arcucci this fall. But when I was putting it online, I realized it would pair beautifully with these beautiful Christmas plates with red and dark green stripes. And you can, of course, use that tableware with those cheerful stripes all year round! Perhaps with other (summery) colors.

Choose from eight colours

This Dolce Vita Nastro tableware is made of earthenware in Tuscany and hand-decorated. It comes in no fewer than eight colors of those cozy candy cane stripes. For this fall, I'm only offering the choice of red and dark green. But if you'd really like to order this cool dish in Tiffany green, let me know —that's also possible!
