For fans of Marimekko's black-and-white Räsymatto design, I've now also bought kitchen towels. We Dutch people love sets, don't we? A matching tea towel and hand towel for the kitchen. While there's currently no Räsymatto tea towel available, this towel also goes perfectly with all the other black-and-white Marimekko tea towels.

About the color and quality

Please note: In Marimekko's pictures, the towel looks black and white. In reality, it's more gray and cream. The towel is nice and thick. It also features a beautiful border on both short sides.

New towel? Here's how to make sure it dries properly:

Soak overnight in cold water with a dash of white vinegar (not cleaning vinegar). This will help the towel absorb moisture better and also set the colors. Wash the towel at 60°C and, if possible, line dry.
