A garden on your table!

I have never been there myself, but I imagine the Monet gardens in Giverny must look like this if you squint your eyes. This tablecloth is like an impressionist painting, featuring dusty blue and red as the main colors, with lilac and white as accent colors.

French flair

A French family in the Pyrenees. Decades ago, father Bruno Lamy visited Rajasthan and fell in love with the beautiful block-print fabrics made there. Inspired by the technique of block printing and the character of the hand-printed fabrics, he returned to France and started working on his own designs. He drew his inspiration from the colorful, flower-rich nature of the South of France. And here we are, some 40 years later, with this Jardin on your table.

Block prints from India

Couleur Nature still designs the patterns in the South of France. The tablecloths are then printed in Jaipur (and have been by the same families for years). The blocks used for this are hand-carved from wood. Depending on the size of the designs and the different colors in the pattern, a huge number of stamps are applied per tablecloth. You can imagine that with a pattern featuring so many colors like this one, a great deal of knowledge, skill, and experience is required to deliver a product as beautiful as this!

Rectangular and square only

This tablecloth comes in many sizes. I don't have them all in stock yet, but I can have them sent over from France in no time. The tablecloth is not available in round. At Couleur Nature, they believe that the designs they create look wonderful even on a round or oval table. I must say I agree. The borders along these tablecloths are part of their character, and these look very beautiful on round and oval tables too! Just take a look at the photos of the round and oval table.

Not just tablecloths, but also runners and placemats (tea towels and aprons might come later or upon special request). This beautiful design is also available as a runner or a set of placemats. All equally beautiful, with the same block print. The table runner is 45 x 180 cm, and the placemats are 37 x 47 cm and are sold in sets of 2.

Washing and care instructions for Couleur Nature block-print tablecloths

• Machine wash at a maximum of 30°C or 40°C on a delicate cycle to preserve the colors.
• Do not use bleach or optical brighteners.
• Avoid fabric softener, as it can make the colors dull over time.
• Iron on the reverse side at a moderate temperature (cotton/wool setting) to maintain the vibrancy of the print.
• If possible, air dry in the shade.
• Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, as the colors may fade.
