Pink rain on the table

Bunches and bunches of pink rain. I didn't even know it existed, but there is such a thing as pink rain! The bunch of wisteria is composed of two colors, red and pink, with a bright color of green shining through in between, the color of fresh young leaves. The border and the leaves of the pink rain are the same color. It is a whole table full, but because of the repeating pattern it is—as far as I am concerned—not too much.

French flair

A French family in the Pyrenees. Decades ago, father Bruno Lamy visited Rajasthan and fell in love with the beautiful block print fabrics made there. Inspired by the technique of block printing and the character of the hand-printed fabrics, he returned to France and got to work himself. He drew his inspiration from the colorful, floral nature in the south of France. And lo and behold, some 40 years later, this Jardin on the table.

Block prints from India

Couleur Nature still designs its patterns in the South of France. The tablecloths are then printed in Jaipur (by the same families for years). The blocks they use for this are carved by hand from wood. Depending on the size of the designs and the different colors that appear in the pattern, a huge number of stamps are applied per tablecloth. You can understand that with such a pattern with many colors as you see here, it takes a lot of knowledge, skill, and experience to deliver a beautiful product like this!

Only rectangular and square

This tablecloth comes in many sizes. I don't have them all in stock for now, but I can have them brought over from France very quickly. The tablecloth is not available in round. At Couleur Nature, they are of the opinion that the designs they create look beautiful even on a round or oval table. I must say I agree with that. The borders along these tablecloths are part of their character. And these look very beautiful even on round and oval tables! Just take a look at the photos of the round and oval table.

Not just tablecloths, but also runners and placemats (tea towels and aprons may come later or on special request). This beautiful design is also available as a runner or a set of placemats. All equally beautiful, with the same block print. The table runner is 45 x 180, the placemats are 37 x 47 cm and these are sold in sets of 2.

Washing and care instructions for Couleur Nature block print tablecloths

• Machine wash at a maximum of 30°C or 40°C on a delicate cycle to preserve the colors.
• Do not use bleach or optical brighteners.
• Avoid fabric softener, as this can dull the colors over time.
• Iron on the reverse side at a moderate temperature (cotton/wool setting) to maintain the vibrancy of the print.
• If possible, let air dry in the shade.
• Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, as the colors may fade.
