Marimekko Siirtolapuutarha bowl 1.5 liters

You always have bowls like that in use. At our house, they (read: the husband and the teenagers) would make and/or serve microwave popcorn in them. I'd serve a salad in them, sometimes use them as a serving dish for fries or another side dish. They're perfect for reheating leftovers in the microwave, using them for mashed potatoes with a side dish, or an oven gratin—anything goes, too. In short, multifunctional.

Nature and the city

The print that runs like a band across the outside of the bowl tells the story of the allotment garden. A place where city and nature meet. This design dates from 2009 and is by Maija Louekari.
