Gresnovo Pie Dish Ø 27 cm

I was asked if I could find oven dishes in the same color as Loveramics' Er-Go Rose dinnerware. Yes, I could... but besides the pink rectangular dishes I sourced for this special client, there were many more colors and cool shapes! So here are these wonderfully cheerful round, shallow pie dishes. Perfect for a quiche or a sweet pie.

The pie dish that's always welcome on the table!

I have a whole array of springform pans at home and make quiche all the time. When there are four of us eating, I often serve the quiche out of the pan on a board on the table. Fine. But if I'm making something a bit more special, I like to present the quiche in a beautiful dish. With these Portuguese pie dishes from Gresnovo, that's a breeze. They can go straight from the oven to my beautifully set table. You can serve the pie slices at the table with a colored pie server from Brio. The wavy top edge is really nice, by the way. It makes this pie dish truly special!

Tiets' Tip

I actually always use baking paper, no matter what I bake in a dish – even grilled vegetables. It saves a lot of washing up, and – should you doubt whether a pie crust is fully cooked – you can always lift the pie out of the dish using the baking paper and bake it further on a rack or baking sheet in the oven. Having trouble getting the baking paper into the dish? Wet one side slightly and then crumple the baking paper into a ball. Place it with the wet side down on the bottom, and you'll see that it stays put obediently and also conforms to the shape very easily.
