Nina Bakx wanted to give a golden cheese slicer as a housewarming gift to an old housemate—with whom she'd shared many late-night cheese snacking moments. But she couldn't find one anywhere. I received a prototype this morning and immediately ran to Ekoplaze for a delicious slice of young farm cheese. Because you know, if a cheese slicer works well on young cheese, it's truly top-notch. And it really slices like a pro! No bumpy, ridged slices, or anything like that. No, nice and straight, one smooth slice after another. I think I've already eaten two ounces of cheese by now, it's that good!

Just in time for Sinterklaas!

I already let Nina know this morning that I was going to buy it, but that it would be such a winner... I'm absolutely in love with it. Ha ha, a cheese slicer, uh, sorry, a golden cheese slicer. They'll arrive on Wednesday, November 27th, just in time to be put in the sack for Sinterklaas. And of course, well in time for Christmas!
