Daily Variations – a day of color by Vibeke Rohland

As part of Marimekko's Artist in Residence program, Danish textile artist Vibeke Rohland sheds all superfluous elements, seeking the pure essence of form, color, and contrast. With her design Daily Variations, she delves deep into the soul of color and stripe: how hues seek each other out, challenge, and complement each other.

The result? A design that captures the changing moods of a single day – the rhythm, the sounds, the light that changes from hour to hour. In short: a mug with a story. Do you also recognize a (sunny) morning in it?
