Marimekko Unikko breakfast plate light pink + rust brown

A Marimekko breakfast plate with the famous Unikko print. The base of the plate is white, just like all other Oiva tableware (therefore, it always combines well with the all-white Unikko tableware!). The legendary Unikko print has been reworked for the summer of 2025 in a soft light pink, but with a lovely rust-brown center. Otherwise, it all gets a bit too sweet (and I don't think they like that at Marimekko!) The plate is 20 cm in diameter. Large enough as a breakfast plate or salad plate.

My favorite thing about Marimekko's Oiva tableware is how beautifully it mixes and matches. This plate with the Unikko in light pink is another example. The pink makes it a perfect match with the dark green and light pink Unikko tableware. It also looks fantastic with the pink Piccolo print. Always a good choice: the white-on-white Unikko print or the white Oiva tableware, the foundation of everything.
