Marimekko Piirto Ketunmarja large mug with gold fox illustration | 4 dl

My favorite mug with my favorite Marimekko animal: the Ketunmarja fox

In our house, we fight over these lovely 4-deciliter mugs. Personally, I find them the nicest and most enjoyable of all the different cups. And this one with the little golden fox (and the bird and the berries...) how fun is that!! Unfortunately, I only ordered 6 and they can no longer be reordered from Marimekko in Finland, otherwise I would definitely have smuggled one into my own home!

About the Ketunmarja design

This design is by Aino-Maija Metsola. She creates many designs for Marimekko, often featuring animals. For instance, there has already been a lynx and a hare, and this fox previously appeared in Marimekko’s autumn and Christmas collection. On the mug, you can see a golden pen drawing of a scene with berries, birds, and a little fox on the prowl... Well, you can decide for yourself how that story ends!

Please note, this collection is already sold out in Finland. This means I can no longer reorder these mugs. When they're gone, they're truly gone.
