I've been getting so many requests for LARGE round tablecloths in the beautiful linen fabric from Tessitura Toscana Telerie that I've come up with a solution, just before Christmas! (But that's also the reason for the poor imagery; I hope you can see past it ;-))

At the table during the holidays

There's nothing quite as cozy as spending the holidays with friends and family, preferably for hours at the table. A cozy tablecloth like this is a must-have. The advantage of this Christmas tablecloth is that it simply goes with your white or cream-colored tableware. Do you have a Christmas tableware set in your cupboard? Chances are good that it will definitely complement this timeless design. I often talk about it with people in the store: a beautiful tablecloth doesn't last for years; it lasts for generations! For example, I have linen tablecloths at home that belonged to my great-aunts. Tessitura Toscana Telerie makes beautiful round tablecloths, but they only go up to a diameter of 1.70 meters. And so many people have larger round tables! So I've received a lot of inquiries because I do offer a solution for large rectangular tables. I found the solution in the fabric they make for foulards. You know, those large "blankets" for the sofa, for your made bed—I think they even make curtains in Italy. This one is 3 meters wide. And with that, we can make tablecloths up to almost 3 meters in diameter (yes, of course, with a nice hem!).

XL round table?

So, from now on, Christmas tablecloths are also available for the large round table! I offer two options: make it yourself, in which case you only buy the fabric (you can find this fabric per meter here). Or have it made. There are three options: 2 meters, 2.50 meters, and 2.90 meters. Because Christmas is just around the corner, we can't offer any more custom-made options. I'm in touch with a very good tailor who can make a beautiful tablecloth in no time. Just as beautifully finished and indistinguishable from the tablecloths made in Florence.

What if you spill something?

That's pretty much the most frequently asked question in the store. And I always think, do you ask that when you buy a linen blouse? Anyway, I have a friend who has this tablecloth. She recommended Shout! Just keep a can of Shout spray nearby and as soon as someone spills juice or red wine, give it a spritz. (If you have a table that doesn't like that, put something between the tablecloth and the table before you start Shouting.) After Christmas dinner, simply wash the tablecloth and then put it back on the table wet (saves a lot of ironing). Or you can hang it up wet on the clothesline and iron the tablecloth while it's still damp.
