About the Siirtolapuutarha design

In addition to the most famous design from the Finnish brand Marimekko, the Unikko, Kleuroptafel is also expanding the Siirtolapuutarha collection. This is a design by Maija Louekari from 2009. In this series, nature and the city converge. Siirtolapuutarha loosely translates to "city garden." This is reflected in the mug: a woman with a (summer?) hat among the leaves and flowers. One flower is pink amidst the black and white.

Psst, don't tell anyone, but I have very little Marimekko tableware at home. But I do have these 4-deciliter cups. They're by far the most popular. They're easy to drink from, nice and thick, feel wonderfully smooth, and are simply beautiful. I hope you'll enjoy this cup immensely too!
