Today is December 16th. Only 100 days until Christmas, and for me (Kleuroptafel), that marks the beginning of the season. The countdown has started. The perfect moment to offer the Advent calendar (counting down to Christmas with 24 packages) once again. Because it’s coming back! 

Do you feel that thrill from the old days? I remember it like yesterday, the total excitement when my father came home from work with the Christmas hamper; a box filled with treasures! The fourth version of the Kleuroptafel advent calendar is exactly that. And for 24 days in a row! You wake up and the first thing you do - perhaps after your cup of tea or coffee - is open the package of the day. A moment of happiness every day. And it is always something colorful, cozy, or beautiful for your table, for the Christmas tree, or for your home. You give your month of December an extra portion of color and joy.

What's in the calendar? That remains a secret until you open each package. All I can say is that they are genuine, typical Kleuroptafel gifts. Everything thought up and selected by me, and finally assessed by my children (and they are oh-so-critical of what I do!) to see if it is truly advent-calendar-worthy.

Why do I have to order it now, Titia? Well, that's quite simple! I make these advent calendars myself. A maximum of 24 advent calendars containing 24 hand-wrapped gifts. And let me tell you, these aren't just little trinkets. This year, everything is wrapped according to a single theme again. A feast for the eyes, (sweeter than candy!), I can already tell you that much. And those 24 gifts for yourself or your family, I am still collecting and dreaming them up. After all, it really has to be an awesome whole, I realize that very well! Fortunately, I'm currently waking up in the middle of the night every now and then because of brilliant ideas; another one of the 24 days filled ;-) 

Out the door on time

You understand that for me (the queen of disorganization herself ;-), this is a military operation. 24 packages ordered and delivered on time, 24 x beautifully and originally wrapped, 24 x the right number on the right package, and then filling 24 boxes, which I wrap again!!! And those advent calendar boxes naturally have to go out the door well in advance, because the first package can be opened on December 1st! That is why you can order the calendar via the website starting now (exactly 100 days until Christmas!). That gives me peace of mind, because I know where I stand. And no, the high expectations of 24 people don't make me anxious. I have already received questions from several old hands asking if it's coming back. So that's definitely a good sign!!)
