You can never have enough bowls

I find this a very friendly bowl; the shape just feels right somehow... wide, not too high, very inviting for a nice snack. The white bowl has a white Unikko flower on a light blue background at the bottom. A red rim adorns this cute bowl.

Multifunctional and easy to mix.

For soup, a smoothie bowl (what's that?!), nuts. Also great for shared dining, which I love. Marimekko's Oiva tableware is designed for mixing and matching. The same design language, the same material and base. It all goes together. You just have to collect it nicely yourself. One person might want a colorful fair, while another opts for this quieter (almost) white.

Sturdy stoneware

Marimekko's Oiva tableware is made of stoneware. This is sturdier than earthenware and can really take a beating (I regularly bump and clatter things together here in the store, fortunately, this tableware is truly bump-proof. But of course, you shouldn't drop it on a stone kitchen floor).

Limited collection

Some find it terrible, others can work with it; Marimekko has many limited collections. This red and light blue Unikko 'capsule collection' is another one. I can no longer reorder this bowl. Something to keep in mind if you want to purchase it.
