I'm a real sucker for animals on tableware, and for color! I'd been a Rice fan for years, but when I saw this series in collaboration with Nathalie Lété, I was completely sold and finally bought it. This ivory piece features all the animals from the series: the birthday cat, the tennis crocodile, the distinctive tiger, the raccoon mother, the koala, the juku-papillon dog, and the zebra in boots and dress. The top and inside are burgundy.

The cup for almost everything

This melamine cup from Rice is, of course, originally based on the well-known Duralex glass model. As far as I know, Rice was one of the first to introduce it as a melamine version years ago. From the very beginning, they've been made with superior melamine. I've had them in my cupboard for about 15 years. You can drink hot tea, coffee (it fits under our espresso machine), but of course, these melamine cups are also perfect for kids. Lemonade, milk, yogurt drinks...

Nice and practical

How practical, a cup that's perfect for everything. Almost everywhere, because it's not oven- or microwave-safe. But it is dishwasher-safe. And that melamine can certainly withstand a few knocks. Just don't knock them from your high chair onto the hard stone kitchen floor, or they might break.
