The Stendig Calendar for 2026

In 1966, Massimo Vignelli created this calendar as a kind of experiment with the new Helvetica typography. That same year, the calendar was added to the collection of the Museum of Modern Art in New York. Does this style sound familiar? Vignelli also designed the New York Metro map and the Little Brown Bag for Bloomingdale's.

Museum piece on your own wall

How about having your own museum piece on your wall in 2026? You'll need a large wall space, though, as the calendar measures 91.5 x 122 cm! The black and white letters and numbers alternate with the white and black numbers and letters.

Fits figuratively everywhere

Whether it literally fits depends on the space available on your wall. Figuratively, the Stendig, with its timeless black and white design, fits into a wide variety of interiors.

How do you hang it?

The calendar has a sturdy strip at the top with three metal rings. Mark the position carefully, and three screws will hold the calendar in place. If you don't want to drill, look for a good adhesive system, for example, from 3M (we sell them too!).

To keep so beautiful

You tear off the calendar sheets at the end of the month—time to move on, after all! But I never throw them away. I've used them to decorate boxes, wrap gifts, craft with them, paint on them, and so on.

In a stylish, sturdy packaging

The Stendig is shipped rolled up in sturdy cardboard packaging. This year, for the first time since I started selling it, it's no longer in the triangular tube, but in a square one. I wrap it in paper so it can go straight into Santa's bag or under the Christmas tree. It's also wrapped in bubble wrap before shipping.
