This Potter series of Egg cups and saucers features a reactive glaze. This means two colors of glaze are used. During firing, these glazes each react slightly differently at different temperatures. Sometimes this creates speckles, other times drips, or a beautiful blend of colors. The cups and saucers are all dipped in the glaze by hand, making each piece unique. The berry color is a subtle red with pink undertones.

The Loveramics Egg cups and saucers are made of porcelain. An advantage of porcelain over earthenware is that it chips much less easily.
