I find it a bit odd to say, but these 2.5 deciliter bowls from Marimekko are so cute! The proportions, the shape—you just want to hold them. And that's also so nice because they're so wonderfully smooth and round!

Warm tones

The print that runs across the exterior of the delicate bowl is the classic Unikko print. This stylized poppy has been around since 1964, making it 60 years old in 2024. You might be familiar with the classic Unikko print on Marimekko tableware in a vibrant red. This fall, Marimekko is releasing a wonderfully soft, warm version of the red Unikko. Cherry red, Barbie pink, and salmon pink with a hint of gray.

Let's mix!

That subtle hint of gray makes this Unikko version a perfect match with a capsule collection of this design, released earlier this anniversary year: the gray Unikko. These different pieces all combine beautifully, precisely as Marimekko intended with its Oiva tableware.
