When I went to a sort of Corona-themed buying fair a while ago, I only intended to buy the Frutos do Mar tableware. But then I saw this... the Bloom tableware from the same Portuguese manufacturer, Duro Caramics. And then I knew I had to add another floral tableware set to the Kleuroptafel collection.

Because let's be honest, this bowl is a work of art, isn't it?!

Fairytale-like yet lifelike

The purple allium-like flower, the seeds (of a dandelion?) floating through the air, a kind of swan flower, and against the gray background, almost fairytale-like white flowers and leaves. It's pure fantasy, and it all fits together perfectly.

The colors and illustrations of the Bloom tableware are almost all the same, but each plate, bowl, cup, etc. is slightly different. Each piece has its own character.

Handmade and decorated

The Bloom tableware is handmade and decorated by Duro Ceramics. As you can see in the photos, it's all a bit bumpy and anything but smooth. It's delightfully laissez-faire, delightfully summery and Mediterranean. But... it's top quality and beautifully finished. Therefore, all of this tableware is dishwasher-safe, oven-safe, and, if it fits, microwave-safe. Please note: because it's handmade, not all bowls and plates are 100% round!
