Marimekko Ihr paper napkins Räsymatto 33 x 33 cm pack of 20 napkins

Marimekko's Räsimatto pattern is incredibly popular. It's understandable, as it's the quintessential Scandinavian design: simple yet incredibly durable. I always initially thought the "balls" were beads on a string (I once sold a butter dish called "Moustache" inspired by it). But it's actually the texture of a rag rug: a true Finnish phenomenon. Räsimatto means "rag rug" in Finnish :-)
