This Marimekko tableware collection is called Oiva and consists of countless items. Yet they all have the same size and shape. This means you can mix and match everything while still maintaining a kind of unity. This quarter-liter mug is made of stoneware and features a subtle handle that is easy to hold.

About the Räsymatto design

In addition to the most famous design by the Finnish brand Marimekko, Unikko, Kleuroptafel also has the Räsymatto collection permanently in its range. In 2026 and 2027, Marimekko is offering its retailers the opportunity to exclusively offer this colored Räsymatto version. So you can only get it from independent Marimekko retailers and not from The Mothership ;-)

No beads, but a rag rug!

At first I thought these little balls were beads on a string. But it's something completely different. Rag rugs are very popular in Scandinavia, especially in summer cottages. The Räsymatto motif is part of the Siirtolapuutarha series, in which city and nature meet. These holiday cottages with rag rugs are a beautiful example of that. And take a closer look at the pattern... it's a stylized representation of a rag rug, the 'beads' are the strips of rag fabric that protrude between the threads.
