Oh, this is a really cute little plate! It might sound strange, but the shape of the plate, the size, combined with these cheerful red, kind of awkward flowers with a blue eye in the middle—it's incredibly cuddly.

Iconic Unikko

It's the most famous design from the Finnish brand Unikko. This rectangular saucer depicts a poppy in red with coral and an indigo-blue eye. This design dates back to the 1960s!

Nice size

The plate is large enough for a cream puff, a slice of cake, two halved toasted sandwiches, a generous amount of sushi, or an appetizer. It also makes a great side dish.
