Marimekko Varvunraita, a festive tablecloth with thin gold lines

Festive occasion? Then this tablecloth is a must-have! It looks as if someone has drawn lines across a 40-by-2.5-meter piece of cloth with a gold Edding marker (with a subtle touch of glitter). Neatly placed next to each other, but clearly hand-drawn and without a ruler.

Subtle design

It might sound strange, but despite the gold glitter, this is a very subtle tablecloth. Perhaps because of the off-white base? Perhaps simply because it's a Marimekko design. Because, of course, they're the best at that in Finland: besides brightly colored designs, they also create beautiful, subtle prints and screen prints!
