Handmade

The candles from Kunstindustrien sold by Kleuroptafel are handmade in Denmark. Kunstindustrien is a small family business that began by casting altar candles. They have steadily expanded their range to include, among other things, these fully colored, hand-dipped candles.

Now also long candles

I've been happily selling the small Mini Bell candlesticks and matching (Christmas tree) candles for years. I'm slowly expanding my collection of larger candles as well. These 35-centimeter candles look so beautiful in, for example, the lovely Bungalow Advent candlesticks. If you look closely, you'll also see in the photos of this Danish brand that they use Kunstindustrien candles for their product photography.

In a nice box

It's a bit like the Apple effect, you know what I mean? Everything that comes in a pretty box is just a little more appealing. The same goes for these beautiful candles. They come in a pack of four (two by two) in a sleek, white, oblong box. I always start by saving the pretty boxes, only to throw them away after about four years. Tiets' tip: simply fold these boxes flat and throw them straight in with the recycling!
