To celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Marimekko Unikko, a number of Unikko variations have been released this year, 2024. One of them is this gray-gold combination.

Set of 2 in a box

Don't you just love beautiful gift wrapping? It's a bit like the Apple effect (if you answered yes to the first question, did you also keep all the Apple boxes and cartons?). The two 2.5 dl mugs come in a white box with a black Marimekko logo.

Two types of Unikko's

The Unikkos are nice and large. One is a plain white background filled with gray and gold Unikkos. The other shows the Unikko surrounded by more white. This mug has two poppies in total: one on the front and one on the back.
