A classic teapot, this Oiva teapot from Marimekko. It has a curved wooden handle and a wooden cap on the lid. It's rubberwood, but I honestly thought it was birch. For that Finnish feel, so to speak. A stoneware tea strainer is hidden under the lid.

Maintenance tips

Wash the teapot thoroughly by hand after each use. This prevents tea stain buildup.

Keep the handle as dry as possible while washing!

The handle is made of wood. Once it loses its shine and becomes dry, it's recommended to treat it with a light olive oil. Let the oil soak in overnight and repeat the treatment as the wood absorbs more oil.
