Marimekko lunch napkins with green pears

These cheerful napkins feature Marimekko's Päärynä design. When I first visited the Maison et Objet trade fair in Paris, there was a huge Marimekko booth with tableware featuring these fantastic pears. I still love it! It just goes to show you the power of these designs. That visit must have been about 12 years ago. I've now delved into them (into the pears :-) This design even dates back to 1969! It's by the same woman who also designed Unikko, Maija Isola.
