These vertical, round candlesticks ( there is another one) always remind me of Caesar's laurel wreath as drawn in Astrix and Obelix, hence the reference to the laurel wreath in the name of this special candlestick.

The wreath is 20.5 centimeters high, and the gold berries practically embrace the tea light holder. Somehow, because of its vertical orientation, this candlestick begs for a spot on the mantelpiece or another attractive ledge.
