Block printing is purely handmade

Bungalow's napkins, just like their tablecloths, are hand-block printed. They use stamps, which are also handcrafted from large pieces of wood. Each 15 x 15 cm piece is stamped as many times as there are colors visible on the napkin, so just count how many times you stamp for four napkins :-) Because it's handmade, each napkin is slightly different. The paint may be applied a little thickly here and there, and sometimes you'll see a drop or a little paint outside the lines. This is part of the charm of Bungalow's hand-printed fabrics.
