I'm a total sucker for folk art and embroidery. I always imagine I lived somewhere on a Hungarian Puszta in my previous life, herding geese, picking berries, baking pies, and embroidering smocked blouses. These cheerful blue eggs from Bungalow were a must-have for me this Easter, especially with the even larger cream-colored Poppy egg. They all fit inside each other, too!

My children (currently 15 and 17) still seriously want to go on an Easter egg hunt every year. While we used to seriously paint at least 24 eggs the night before with food coloring, pantyhose, and little flowers in pans, these days there's an easier way. Just hide lots of chocolate eggs in the garden. It's still hilarious to see how excitement gets the better of them and how they always miss more than half. How much fun is it to collect the eggs in such a beautiful egg after searching and enjoy them together. Too much hassle? You can also do it without the hiding and searching. Just put it in the middle of the table and everyone can have fun.
