Don't make a mess with this tablecloth!

These cotton tablecloths are screen-printed in-house at Marimekko in Helsinki. They're then treated with an acrylic coating. This ensures that you can easily wipe away spilled food and drinks with a damp cloth. This means the tablecloth almost never needs to be washed! If you do want to wash it, you can do so at 40 degrees Celsius. I recommend hanging it out wet and ironing it on the back with a tea towel between the two. Test it on a corner first!

Sustainability is a top priority

Marimekko strives to recycle as much as possible or use other sustainable options in the production of its fabrics. In this case, unbleached cotton was used. As a result, the cotton isn't pure white, but has a creamy color and a slight "pitted" texture.
