I think I'm the only person in the Netherlands who still only burns real Christmas candles on their tree. And therefore doesn't have any electric lights. And I'm proud of it :-)

But that also means I have a slight quirk: I'm always looking for the right candles. That's partly why I used to sell Bolsius Christmas tree candles, but they only came in white and red. Luckily, I've since found a different supplier for these "standard candles." I also came across the Danish company Kunstindustrien, and they not only make those lovely (Mini) Bell candlesticks, they also make Christmas tree candles in about 40 colors! And so, in many shades of green, including this dark bottle green.
