Yes, another lovely deep plate in the Marimekko Oiva series, the tableware collection that never ends. For over 15 years, new pieces have been added constantly. New designs, new colors, but always in keeping with what's already available. In design and color, but also in shape.

Ode to nature

Tiara also means crown in Finnish, in this case it represents nature's crowning achievement. Branches, leaves, and flowers crawl across the board. The base of the board is white, while the branches, leaves, and flowers are green, orange, blue, and yellow. The Tiara design originally dates from 2014. It was dusted off and refreshed in 2015: I find it a wonderfully accessible pattern. Clearly Marimekko, but perhaps it will also appeal to the more casual Marimekko fans.
