A delightful bowl from Marimekko. Perfect for a small dessert, a snack, some nuts, or a peeled apple. Also very nice for shared dining. There is always a mini dish that fits in here. Or while eating tacos, with a spring roll meal... You can never have enough of these bowls in your cupboard.

Unikko, but different

The base of this 3-deciliter bowl is white, just like all other Oiva tableware (which is why it is always easy to combine with the all-white Unikko tableware). The design of this stylized poppy has existed since 1964. Now the poppy design is almost always 'all-over'; in this Unikko Kulho design, only a few poppies steal the show. Nice, both on the inside and the outside!

For the Asian market

Actually, this is of course a traditional rice bowl, you know, a bit high, not too big, you can easily grasp it with one hand. I actually think Marimekko made this Unikko Kulho series for the Asian market. The brand is incredibly popular there.

Time to combine!

The best thing about the Oiva tableware from Marimekko, in my opinion, is that you can combine it so fantastically with each other. This bowl, too. It goes well with the regular red Unikko series, the white with white Unikko, the white Oiva tableware (the base of all Marimekko tableware). But don't forget the options with the black and white dotted Räsymatto design.
