I almost feel silly saying it, but these 2.5 deciliter bowls from Marimekko are so cute! The proportions, the shape—you just want to hold them. And that's also so nice because they're so wonderfully smooth and round!

From city to nature

The print that runs across the outside of the bowl tells the story of the Siirtolapuutarha, or city garden. A place where the bustling city and blossoming, growing nature meet. In this case, it's primarily flowers, black-and-white fantasy motifs, and a girl with rosy cheeks.

Let's mix!

This design is from 2009 and was created by Maija Louekari. Another part of this extensive collection is the acrylic-coated tablecloth of the same name, as well as the entire Räsymatto (rag rug) series with black dots on a white background. These various items all combine beautifully, precisely as Marimekko intended with the Oiva tableware.
